Autobiographical Narrative
“Be active! Take on responsibility! Work for things you believe in. If you do not, you are surrendering your fate to others.” (Unknown)
This quote stands out to me because I been put down in my life and I keep pushing in my life. The most important things in my life are family, school and education and bettering myself to. I am Jose Isaac Espinoza and I come from a small family. My family is important to me because they help me through hard times and even in good times. One of the good times that I remember was my family helping me through reading because I have trouble reading and spelling, they understand what was happening to me because my brother had the same problem that I had. One of the bad times that effect my family and I was the death of my grandma. That affect me because my family was stressing out and couldn’t concentrate. Even though we been through a lot I know that will be there for me.
School is important to me because I know that education could take you a long way in life, better yourself. In school I struggle because I have to push more than others because of my learning disability. I struggle with reading and spelling, processing what I read and that made my life challenging. By trying to overcome my disability I have been coming in early to school to get help on my work, reading in the library and that's why I got better in my reading, spelling.
My plan is to finish high school and graduate. After high school my plan is to work full time in landscaping so I could become a landscaping contractor. Eventually go to college and get a degree on landscaping contractor. My longterm goal is to open my own business of landscaping, buy some land, provide for my family and others.
The obstacles that I overcome and still facing have made me stronger. I realize this cannot stop me because others need help so I have to keep pushing and tell others that I have the same problem. I been improving my disability and still be motivated because I think that there's something in the finish line, be strong minded, don’t let others put you down.
